For an injured PA vet, every 5% your monthly pension incriminate goes up $ 136.67   (math $136.67*20)=Topped at $2733.40 for a 100% disability.

And our injured NVC vets, every 5% your monthly "unofficially announced life long pension with other rumors" will be $60.00 (math $60.00*20)= Topped at $1200 for a 100% disability and a CAP.
Spouses and children?

The NVC's  ($1200.00) amount (rumors) in comparison to the Pension Act incriminate system based on climbing the scales by 5%.

•(100%)$1200.00      (12months*$1,200.00)= $14,400  ($14,400*25 years) =$360,000  Note: (100%) payout, directly from the Lump-sum VAC NVC table
(95%)$1140.00
(90%)$1080.00
(85%)$1020.00
(80%)$960.00
(75%)$900.00
(70%)$840.00
(65%)$780.00
(60%)$720.00
(55%)$660.00
(50%)$600.00            (12months*$600.00)= $7,200  ($7,200*25 years) = $180,000 Note: (50%) payout, directly from the Lump-sum VAC NVC table
(45%)$540.00
(40%)$480.00
(35%)$420.00
(30%)$360.00
(25%)$300.00
(20%)$240.00
(15%)$180.00              (12months*$180.00)= $2,160  ($2,160*25 years) = $54,000 Note: (15%) payout, directly from the Lump-sum VAC NVC table
(10%)$120.00
(5%)$60.00

Some pretty strange numbers that you can come up with the maximum of $1,200 and up to  how many years? 25 years.

Be forewarned of foul language, this guy can't seem to make a video without using the F word.

Pay close attention where Aaron talks about the new approach he is aiming for in terms of establishing the new advocacy group, and tactics that he is going to use when this is in place.

You all have been around long enough to be able to make a sound judgement on whether or not you think this will work.

Look back at what hasn't worked for Veterans in the past when making your Judgement.

Got it, thanks. Gotta feel sorry for Aaron. Man he really takes the heat for the work he does. Sucks about the push to Wednesday, I couldn't find that info anywhere. Guess you have the inside track Troop. One more day of stress and no sleep, why not. I'm getting used to it.

Looks like the 'balloon' VAC likes to float out there popped...real loud!

Don't be surprised if it's a 'we need to get it right' statement and there is no announcement.

Veterans brace for Liberals' long-promised disability pension plan

Veterans Affairs Minister Seamus O’Regan will unveil the pension scheme on Wednesday, more than two years after it was first promised during the 2015 federal election.

Re: Pension For Life

Post by Trooper on Tue Dec 19, 2017 6:12 pm

I cannot believe the amount of Veterans thinking this pension announcement will be good. You would think that Veterans, and Veteran groups would know by now that this pension will be worth nothing compared to the promise to reinstate the lifelong pension. (PA Pension) If you think for one second that the bureaucrats are going to write up something that is even close to the PA disability pension, think again. This is not going to happen.

The Pension Act was geared towards for life financial security, and tax free in the form of a Monthly pension. You don't see the RCMP screaming to jump aboard the New Charter. You don't see those fully on the Pension Act screaming to jump aboard the New Charter. There's a very good reason for this!

The New Veterans Charter is geared towards transition from service to civilian life. To rehabilitate, to get those Veterans off pensions, and back into the work force. The NVC is in constant fix mode, the reason for this is to create future security for those bureaucrats working on those fixes, those bureaucrats who are responsible for the New Charter proof of this is seen by the past, and present government in situations such as upcoming announcements like the one were receiving tomorrow. If it's not the CIB, RISB, CIA or what have you, it is constant, and it will continue I can assure you that. This fully taxed transition Charter from service to civilian street has created a large gap of unfairness in terms of lifelong security for disabled Veterans in Canada, the unfairness is crystal clear looking at how much better off Veterans were and or on the Pension Act compared to this transition Charter. Lady's and Gentleman don't be fooled by those who use graphs and unrealistic numbers as a punchline to influence the merits of this transition Charter. This new Charter is in no way close to being equal with the Pension Act in terms of the Pension Act being far superior than this new Charter. Nor will it ever be as good as the Pension Act. This is a fact we all must understand.

So tomorrow will be just like any other announcement, Veterans will be upset, (surprise), and the digestion of the details begins to unravel. Bedard is going to hold interviews from the press and say he will hold the government to account for the pension failure. (surprise) Here's the thing that has me concerned, VGR is taking the lead in public advocating on behalf of Veterans, don't get me wrong, that's appreciated, but just because I appreciate the sacrifice, work, and dedication does not mean I agree with the tactics. The lawyers for Equitas feel strong about the benefits of negotiating with the government, I get that simply because the lawyers know that even if they win the suit, that won't bring back the tax free lifelong pension from the pension act. So why not negotiate, I agree. What I don't agree with is VGR using the same tactic with regards to negotiating. I can tell you all now I have been paying close attention to all advocating that has transpired since 2006 the enacting of the New Charter. Be it Stakeholder meetings, committee meetings, Veteran group meetings, or any venue where Veterans are negotiating with the government, any government not just the Liberals, does not work period! Yes it is true that minor improvements or advances on our behalf can, or has been accomplished through negotiating with the government, but this is few and far between. These minor successes only happen when the Idea fits into the bureaucratic circle, a circle that has a priority of their own, to put themselves first. I don't call this holding the government to account, I call this feeding the governments PR system. If, and that's what I'm reading our so called new leader VGR continues down the same path of negotiating with the government something that has not worked since the creation of the New Charter, we won't be any further ahead in terms of any major positive shift on our file, for another 11 years.

Remember folks, it's all about transition, not pensions.
