Re: Government’s betrayal to Canadian veterans.
A veteran — whether on active duty, retired, served one hitch, or reserve is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a blank check made payable to ‘The Government and People of Canada ‘ for an amount of “up to and including my life.” As a veteran and on behalf of all veterans and our serving Armed Forces at this time, I offer the following: “We can hold our heads high; the weight of government betrayal and deception is not a burden on our shoulders. We served honourably and continue to proudly serve our country, Canada.” From one veteran to another, it’s been an honour to have met, worked, and known you and to have enjoyed your company. Thank you for your service to Canada and defending the freedoms we enjoy today.

Canadians are grateful for your service, even if governments aren’t.
