Roxanne Brown has been sending Christmas cards to deployed Canadian military members since 2006. This year, she added custom-made postcards in the envelopes for soldiers to keep or send home over the holidays

Every year, there are Canadian service members stationed overseas during the holidays.
While nothing can compare to being home, many still find ways to celebrate the season.
Over the years, they’ve made their own traditions: decorating their camps, enjoying meals together, and giving toys and gifts to children in need.
As the holidays approach, we salute those serving far from home!
