Free Baggage AND Seat Selection with AirTransat

Going to a February wedding in the Caribbean and after my search I picked AirTransat.  Out of curiosity I contacted AirTransat to ask about free baggage for active military and veterans (and spouses too).

AirTransat allows 1 free bag for the CF/Vet and spouse upon check in with valid ID.

Now what really surprised me the helpline from the AirTransat suggested I also ask about the fee for seat reservation when I emailed my info to   request@airtransat.com  

I made the request and was reimbursed for my seat selection!

When you email the above address include the following info:
- The date and flight #
- The Seat Selection Confirmation #
- The Confirmation # the website you used to book your flight
- A scanned copy of your Identification (Military ID, NDI-75, CF1 card for spouse)

Please pass this info along as I don't know if Air Canada or Westjet refunds the cost of seat selection
