Wait Times Empty Wait Times

Veterans asked us to be more transparent about how long it takes for claims to be processed. We know that we need to do better. We created this tool to show the most up-to-date information possible.
With it, you’ll be able to watch our progress and hold us to account if we’re not improving.

We continue to make progress against our wait times plan.
We’re making decisions as soon as possible on individual conditions, rather than waiting for your whole application to be processed (if it includes multiple conditions).
Certain conditions, like hearing loss, are more straight forward and can be processed faster than complex conditions. This is why you may have heard back from us on one part of your application while other decisions are processed.
