DEC and Canada Pension Plan Disability

Hi there,
Im declared DEC and receive the benefits from VAC that go along with it. I wondered if I also qualify for CPP disability?

doomed_78 The answer to your question is no it does not automatically Qualify you for CPPD.
Having or receiving benefits from VAC has no baring on qualifying for CPPD.

I thought that PTSD with anxiety disorder may qualify me. I just wondered if receiving CPP disability would take away from my BAV benefits.

If your receiving Canada Pension Plan Disability, and receive the IRB through VAC or LTD through SISIP, both VAC, and SISIP will offset the CPPD amount.
