TBI Cowboy Has 2 poems to share
TBI stands for Traumatic Brain Injury which many Canadian veterans suffer from.
In 2002, Albertan Curtis Anderson was getting on a bull at a rodeo. He lost his balance and was struck by the bull twice in the head. He took a long time to recover to where he is today. He still rides a horse but never without a helmet.
I met Curtis a number of years ago at a horse event. We talked and he was very passionate about the military. He asked me again to share 2 pieces he had written for encouragement. He is always willing to talk to people too about his recovery and to provide encouragement to others who have had a TBI. I have placed the image of his two poems below.
