Notice - Mental Health Benefits coverage. 2741858880 Veterans Affairs Canada Jan 06-2022

Starting on 1 April 2022, Veterans living in Canada who apply for a disability benefit for certain mental health conditions – as well as those awaiting a decision – will automatically qualify for Mental Health Benefits coverage.

The regulatory changes for these benefits (introduced as part of Budget 2021) are now posted in the Canada Gazette. Comments can be submitted by 30 January 2022 to cabinetbusinessunit-unitedinformationducabinet@veterans.gc.ca
