Does anyone know how to get your Disability Application Red zoned for approval in 14 days? Does it work? Has anyone asked for this> Can you tell us your experience?

It does work BUT (always a but) each application is decided upon "time".
For example if you have prostrate cancer caused by military service your application is red zoned if the oncologist says you have X months to live. My friend had his application processed within 2 weeks and he passed about 3/4 months later. It gives the veteran a chance to take care of financial benefits for their spouse, get in-home help with nurses, installation of living aids. It also "flags" your file with your CM to do an in-home consult with the veteran (if able to) but mainly for the spouse.
IMO VAC created the "emergency funds" program so they don't get bogged down with red zone applications being pushed ahead of all other applicants. Like an application for a homeless vet, or a single mom trying to make ends meat etc. Not to be cold but a vet on his/her deathbed should always be a priority so kudos to the Libs for creating this benefit
