As a military Veteran, you can apply for support to help you remain independent and self-sufficient in your home.
If you have qualified for a disability benefit, for the War Veterans Allowance, or are on a wait list for long-term care, or if you receive Prisoner of War Compensation, the Veterans Independence Program supports services such as:
• Grounds maintenance
• Housekeeping
• Access to nutrition
• Healthcare and support
• Personal care
• Ambulatory healthcare
• Transportation
• Home adaptations
