Your opinion matters in Your Say Survey

The Your Say Survey seeks members’ views
and opinions on Canadian Armed Forces
policies, procedures, and programs.

January 30, 2020 - Defence Stories

Results of the Your Say Survey inform senior leaders on a variety of topics, including member wellbeing as well as opinions on policies, procedures, and programs in the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF).

Questions in this year’s winter survey include topics such as awareness and perceptions of the policy on cannabis use, satisfaction with pay and benefits, honours and recognitions, postings, Imposed Restriction, harassment/discrimination, attitudes towards Operation HONOUR, and the Sexual Misconduct Response Centre. Other questions cover the use of official languages, and experiences with the grievance process and Integrated Conflict and Complaint Management (ICCM), personnel support programs, and programs available to the ill and injured.

The survey has been sent to approximately 9,000 Regular Force members and Primary Reservists. Those receiving a link are encouraged to share their valuable views and opinions by completing the survey.

This research has been approved by the DND/CAF Social Science Research Review Board (SSRRB) in accordance with DAOD 5062-0 and 5062-1. The SSRRB Approval # is 1862/19N.
