Veterans Affairs Canada July 29. 2021If you qualify for the Treatment Benefits program, we will send you a VAC Healthcare Identification Card.
You only need to show your VAC card to your provider to receive health benefits or services.

Veterans Affairs Canada Aug 25. 2021Will you be releasing within six months and already receive a VAC disability benefit?
If so, make sure your health benefits are in order before you release by requesting a review through Medavie’s secure portal:

You only need to show your VAC card to your provider to receive health benefits or services.

Don't know if anyone else has experienced this but whenever I say my insurance provider is Medavie Blue Cross the service provider either cringes or rejects.
It seems this is the most complicated insurance company to deal with for just about every service provider outside of dental and hearing.
So is this card new lipstick on a pig or has Medavie Blue Cross joined 2022?

Veterans Affairs Canada May 26. 2022May is National Physiotherapy month.
As part of our Treatment Benefits program, you can get coverage for many types of health services like physiotherapy and massage therapy, chiropractor, acupuncture, and more.

Veterans Affairs Canada July 14. 2022If you qualify for one or more of our 14 treatment programs, you will receive a VAC Health Care Identification Card.
You can get benefits or services by presenting this card to a registered healthcare services provider.
