Equitas Society: This message to me is clear. They are telling us they don’t Intend on any more improvements.
Again , we are hearing about the best case scenario . And again , not a word about how the 60% guy pumping gas because the Mounties won’t take him gets his situation improved.
Those that have career plans altered by their injury , but still find employment receive little else from the government under the PFL.

Andrew Leslie Feb 16, 2018: Our government is committed to supporting Canada’s Veterans, especially those who are ill and injured. It is our responsibility to provide financial security for those who need it. This announcement means that a 25-year-old Veteran who is 100% disabled would see her/his monthly support increase by over $1,700 from 2015. For a 50-year-old Veteran who is 100% disabled, her/his monthly support would now be almost $9,000.
Notre gouvernement est déterminé à soutenir les anciens combattants du Canada, en particulier ceux qui sont malades et blessés. Il est de notre responsabilité de fournir une garantie financière à ceux et celles qui en ont besoin. Cette annonce signifie qu’un ancien combattant de 25 ans qui est invalide à 100 % verra son soutien mensuel augmenter de plus de 1 700 $ par rapport à 2015. Pour un ancien combattant de 50 ans qui est invalide à 100 %, le soutien mensuel s’élèvera maintenant à près de 9 000 $.
