Justin Trudeau has lots of money, just not for veterans
The words Justin Trudeau spoke to veteran Brock Blaszczyk in Edmonton last winter will likely haunt him for the rest of his political career. “They’re asking for more than we are able to give right now,” Trudeau said when asked why he was still fighting veterans groups in court.

Sure is turning into a long list of lies to veterans by Trudeau. Let's remember this, for the next election, that we question every political party with this simple question when they make promises....."How is your party going to keep this promise if elected?"
Now everyone knows the politician will put it thru the fluff and fold cycle so just respond with...."All due respect, veterans are not a political football, so if you can't explain how your party is going to keep promises how do you expect veterans to vote for your party?"
Elections are the only time politicians "act" like a normal Canadian because they want our vote. So let's make the next election count for veterans.

I agree especially this part.."so if you can't explain how your party is going to keep promises how do you expect veterans to vote for your party?"
I don't expect to see a lot of Veterans voting Liberal the next time around. Personally I would like to see them lose but not because any other party will do better for Veterans, because of the broken promises and or half ass promises they provided.
It's hard for Veterans to hold any government to account, they make campaign promises to Veterans but once elected they turn to the all stripe bureaucratic machine to follow through on what they promised. So basically what we have is a boat load of politicians who know nothing about the Veterans file leaving the task for the bureaucrats to run the file. The bureaucrats bring forward implementation drafts that provide future work load security for themselves, just look around at what we are seeing on the Veterans file, the chaos, the backlogs, the useless changes that are not so good for Veterans but real good for the bureaucrats.
The main problem is the absent of the pension act. No matter which way one slices it this is, and continues to be the main problem for the Veterans file. So moving forward don't expect a slowdown in frustration/anger coming from Veterans because this will be a forever problem.
It didn't take long for Seamus O’Regan to fall victim to the bureaucrats, one minute his saying I got a lot to learn, and the next his talking bureaucratic language full bore. I think those who are quick at judging who to believe deserves to take the hit if things go sideways. Now Seamus is probably a great guy with a huge heart, but that doesn't count for points when you are in charge of the Veterans file, deep down inside I'm sure Seamus thinks everything his doing on our file is of great achievement, and positive for the file, and his mindset is that there's always going to be some negativity thrown his way no matter what. The sad part of it is he is mistaken, he as his predecessor are not doing any favors for Veterans. So whether it's Seamus or anyone else their all politicians and are told to either tow the party line or their out.
Veterans are not in good hands.
