In memory of a highly respected member of the Canadian Airborne Regiment, Mike Abel, who on this date, 25 years ago tragically lost his life in Somalia while serving with 3 Commando.

Never forgotten by your Airborne Brothers....fair winds and soft landings Pathfinder!

Thank you Trevor Sanderson for sharing. This is a conflict more Canadians need to learn about.
