No Veteran should be without a place to live – especially during hot weather.
If you know someone who served in the CAF or RCMP who is homeless or at risk of becoming homeless – help us help them.

Help us reach and support homeless Veterans and those at-risk.
If you know someone who served in the CAF or RCMP in need of help, spread the word about local organizations providing support.

When the temperatures drop, reaching out to a former member of the Canadian Armed Forces or RCMP who is homeless or at risk of becoming homeless, can make a difference.
Help us spread the word about the resources offered by VAC and other organizations and let’s get them the support they need to stay safe.

One homeless Veteran is one too many. Housing for Veterans has been a main focus of many Veteran and Family Well-being Fund projects. Over the past 5 years, this fund has supported initiatives that:
• enhance services provided to Veteran tenants in housing facilities,
• hire facilitators to work with formerly homeless Veterans,
• provide immediate support to Veterans who are at risk of losing their housing, and
• offer assistance to Veterans living through the housing crisis and its associated challenges.
A good example is the Veterans Emergency Transition Service, which helps Veterans across Canada. https://bit.ly/3XDxhU1

As we welcome winter and get ready to celebrate the holidays, let us remind ourselves that no Veteran should be alone and without a place to live.
If you know someone who served in the CAF or the RCMP who is experiencing homelessness, help us get them the support they need.
