Form Banish Facebook: "There’s too many other factors involved when coming up with the amount other than % of disability. (Age when award received, age now.. etc. )
I know some at 70% getting $400ish and I know others over 100% getting almost nothing."

I'm over 100, first award 2010/11 i may get 601-650

I’m over 100% also but since 2015-2016 so only 350.01-400

From Banished Veterans Facebook: "I just read mine... I had taken 73k as a lump sum since I used some towards a downpayment and some towards RRSP to help offset taxes... I was booted at 20 years in, at age 40. My calculated monthly is a whopping 100.00!! LOL but anything is better in my pocket than theirs."

The amounts vary, and are hard to evaluate without being provided with a formula. So far the numbers have been all over the map with no clear indication as to how they are estimating this.

Here's another one from Banish Facebook: "I’m over 100%...$100-$125/mth"

I thought I've seen it all with VAC but this tops it all.

Correct.

It is an estimated amount of additional Monthly payment VAC has given to those who already received a disability award for the April 1, 2019 coming into force Pension for Life.

A heads-up if you will.

Who in the world would have the audacity, ignorance, indecency, obscenity, and down right rudeness to send out a letter stating to Veterans whom served their Country they will be getting an additional $20.00 a Month from a new system of benefits coming into force?

I'd say Laugh out Loud but this is by no means a laughing matter.

It is an absolute disgrace! Shame on the Canadian government for allowing this to take place!
