The young fellow was probably prompted by his handlers to come out and state a message fabricated by the GOC's propaganda mission and released to Facebook to soften the blow of the courts decision, IMO.

Commons votes to wrap for the holidays
By Kyle Duggan. --- Published on Dec 13, 2017
The House of Commons has decided it’s breaking for the holidays at the close of business today — two days ahead of schedule.
As of press time, members of Parliament were still debating Bill C-66 — the government’s bill to expunge the records of Canadians who were charged for having consensual same-sex relationships — and bringing forth petitions. But after question period this afternoon, the chamber agreed to a motion from Government House Leader Bardish Chagger that it rise and return in a month’s time.
According to the motion, MPs will return for more legislative action Monday, January 29, 2018.
The House is rising a few days ahead of schedule; it was originally slated to run until the end of the week, but it’s common that the Chamber will rise early. Determining when, exactly, MPs will decide to pack up for the holidays is notoriously hard to predict; although it’s often a clear sign when MPs break out the pre-QP Christmas poems.
It might have even come a bit early for the Prime Minister’s Office. Justin Trudeau’s itinerary, sent out late afternoon after the House gave unanimous consent to adjourn, listed that he will attend question period Thursday.
It marks the end of a raucous sitting where the Liberals found themselves dogged daily in question period by conflict of interest questions about the Finance Minister and his family business. But the governing party also capped the sitting on a bit of a high note by welcoming three new MPs to their weekly caucus meeting after winning federal byelections Monday – bringing their ranks up by one seat overall.
Meantime, MPs also confirmed three new nominees to become officers of Parliament Wednesday. They approved the new federal ethics, lobbying, and languages commissioners.

Well then, everyone needs a break "just guessing."
Regroup? Not Veterans.
We work 24/7.
Enjoy your holidays.
Leave us hanging high and dry.
Does it end like this
OR will there be an announcement?
Come on! This is unreal.
I met a lot of the key Veteran's Advocates along my journey "yes, in person".
There is a plan in place.
So, no worries.
Right from St. Peter (Stoffer) "the only true MVA, IMO"....We should be compensated from the day of when the injury occurred. And for the others at the top on both sides of the house to stop with the BS.
He knows what it is like to be on the receiving side and that Veteran's votes matter.
The GoC knows they are in the wrong.
Hence; we are still discussing the same topic that needed a resolution two years ago.
OMG

The house does not have to be sitting for the pension announcement.
The announcement can come at any time between now and the end of this Month.
I have been reading rumors on what the pension will be, remember these are only rumors, don't pay attention to them because no details of the pension are known by the public.
What I will say is what is announced, will not be even close to what is expected. So be prepared for a major disappointment.
Remember it is the bureaucrats that are running the show, Seamus O'Regan has no Idea whether or not the details of the pension is good, he will go by what he is told by the bureaucrats.
There needs to be a revamp of the system. Those bureaucrats need to be replaced with new bureaucrats who are monitored by an outside agency to ensure the ethics are followed. As it stands now, the bureaucrats are working for their own well being, and Veterans are suffering for it.
