Seamus on CBC

So I'm a Paul Gross and Alan Hawco fan. They have a new series on CBC, Caught. Basically Hawco is an escaped prisoner from a New Brunswick jail in the 70's so there is tv shots of the newscasters about the escape and capture of the escaped convict.
Well guess who is playing the newscaster?
Our Minister of Veterans Affairs himself!
Glad to see he's keeping his toe in the entertainment business because he really isn't all that successful in his current job. Maybe he's concentrating on the tv job more then the vets file?
Just occurred to me....why is a politician on a gov't funded CBC job? Wonder if the drama teacher will get a bit part? Seeing as how he is our only PM in history to be guilty of an ethics breach he knows how to work around that silly rule of ethics.

If you click on the Ministers name it says he is an actor?
I did not know you can be active as an actor, and be a Canadian Minister at the same time?
This should be reported to the ethics watchdog.

He probably became the Minister of Veterans Affairs after he shot his scenes for the tv show.
But all the same you are right Armour it should be reported seeing as the gov't gives CBC around a Billion dollars a year.
Wait Shameus knows his way around the ethics games too....he was with Trudeau on the vacation at Kahn's island.
