How can we believe what Trudeau will say in the future?

Dear editor: It is alarming to me how most of us are being deceived by our politicians these days. I will give you an example of what happened just recently. A young veteran, who had lost a leg fighting ISIS, was told in a town hall meeting, by Justin Trudeau, that “they’re asking for more than we are able to give right now.”
To my mind a very disrespectful answer given the fact that Trudeau gave over $40 million of our tax dollars to four ISIS fighters who returned back to Canada. This is unbelievable.
After searching around I found out that there was a motion in the House of Commons that read: That the House call on the Prime Minister to apologize to veterans for his insensitive comments at a recent town hall in Edmonton and show veterans the respect they deserve by fulling his campaign promise to them.
When he said on Aug. 24, 2015 that “If I earn the right to serve this country as your prime minister, no veteran will be forced to fight their own government for the support and compensation they have earned.”
Veterans are in court fighting the government right now. This motion was defeated by 120 votes for to 155 against.
How can we believe what Trudeau will say in the future?
By the way our MP, Gudie Hutchings, voted against the motion.
