Hours after learning of the 9/11 attacks, Commissionaire Gerry Parris took action.
“We had just finished our 12-hour shift and said, ‘we’re going’.”
He worked 25-hours straight, supporting the emergency response at the Halifax Stanfield airport.
This was one of many acts exemplifying Gerry’s dedication throughout his 18 years in the Canadian Armed Forces.
