Veterans Affairs Canada Sept 09. 2021Veterans, their families, and survivors may qualify for affordable group health insurance through the Public Service Health Care Plan.
The plan offers many medical coverage options, such as mental health services, physiotherapy, and medications.

Veterans Affairs Canada Oct 04. 2022Group health insurance for Veterans and their families can cover 80% of costs for eligible expenses like prescription medication, vision care and more.
It is available through the Public Service Health Care Plan.

Veterans Affairs Canada Mar 13. 2023Are you a member of the Public Service Health Care Plan as a Veteran or survivor?
All Plan members should take steps now to prepare for the Public Service Health Care Plan administrator change from Sun Life to Canada Life, effective July 1.
This month, Plan members will receive an enrolment package from Canada Life which should be filled out and sent back to Canada Life by April 30. To ensure you receive a package, please make sure your personal information is up to date with Sun Life.
The change will not impact negotiated benefits, and claims should continue to be sent to Sun Life until June 30.

Veterans Affairs Canada April 13, 2023Veteran and survivors with Public Service Health Care Plan (PSHCP) coverage through VAC: in case you missed it, Canada Life will become the new administrator of the PSHCP effective July 1.
You should receive an enrolment package from Canada Life. You should complete and return the enrolment package to Canada Life by April 30 to allow time to complete the process.
Canada Life must receive your information by June 15 to avoid coverage cancellation.

Avoid problems and enrol today.

Veterans Affairs Canada June 27, 2023If you are a Veteran or survivor who gets Public Service Health Care Plan coverage through VAC, the last day to submit claims with SunLife is June 30. As of July 1, all claims should be submitted to Canada Life.
If you’re not signed up with Canada Life yet, you must activate your coverage by completing their enrolment process. You will not be able to access your coverage until this is completed.
Plan members need to provide information about themselves and their qualifying dependents so that Canada Life can process their claims.

If you are a Veteran or survivor with Public Service Health Care Plan coverage through VAC, please submit all claims to Canada Life Co as of July 1.
If you’re not signed up with Canada Life yet, you will not be able to access your coverage until your enrolment is completed.
