I don't hear the word option in that speech, I guess this was something that came about later on.
I have a bad feeling about what this pension will be, anything that takes this long is bound to be bad.
If it was any good they would have came out with it around remembrance day I would think.

Seamus said twice in committee last week that they would announce before Parliament rises next friday

This would be a good time for them to announce it, they can then slip away from the spotlight avoiding the backlash that will of course come from the merits of the pension itself.

Trooper, That would be a typical tactic they like to use. Announce something you know is not going to sit well and F off for Christmas. Seamus will be the whipping boy just like all previous MVAs.

This (above) really happened as predicted.
Now let us see what this announcement will be on Tuesday.
We're all chomping at the bit to know "if" the rumor is true.
It has to be according to the Pension Act.
No one can change the Pension Act without noticing their members.

Where we stand;
We voted for the Pension Act to be re-installed (Believing in the Liberals).

The election was won with a mandate to reinstate the Pension Act.
Not a fragmented portion of the Pension Act, blended in with the New Veterans Charter.
Whatever is announced needs to be at par or better.
Keep in mind secret deals ($10.5 million dollar ones, that we as private Canadian Citizens were not to of heard whispers of) and now our injured get less?
A CF member should be compensated to the fullest Canada can provide.

"Rome wasn't built in a day. Important work takes time. This expression functions as an injunction or plea for someone to be patient. For example, You can't expect Herr to finish this project in the time allotted; Rome wasn't built in a day. This phrase was a French proverb in the late 1100s but was not recorded in English until 1545."

I always wondered why our former MVA referenced this famous quote. Sad

ON a special note.
All generations are coming together, why?
We are all on the same page and as this evolves, our voices grow stronger with one common battle cry.
Every single one of us matter.
How Canada treats their injured veterans, reflects on Canada's reputation as a whole.
It is being well documented thanks to www. and Social Media.
How we treat our injured veterans in Canada should be the platinum standard, not the shyte standard.

The lifelong is going to be a dumpster fire starting with the release. It's happening on Tuesday Dec 19 the same day Rex Tillerson, Secretary of State, is visiting Ottawa.

Wonder where the majority of the press is going to be and concentrating on?

Wonder what the odds are going to be that Seamus speaks at the exact same time Tillerson and Freeland sit down for their presser?
