Re: Transition

“The thing that keeps me going is what’s behind me and what’s in front of me—my family and my friends.” Bill “Mother” Irving’s service included two tours in Afghanistan and the loss of four friends to an improvised explosive device. He’s learned different ways to manage the transition to post-service life. His advice to other transitioning Veterans: Have a plan. Learn about the support that’s available. And don’t isolate yourself.
Learn more about Mother’s compelling story.
