Re: Transition
The Pepper Pod is a retreat centre for women transitioning out of the military or the RCMP.
Funded by the Veteran and Family Well-Being Fund and led by LCol (H) Sandra Perron, the centre enables women to bond and grow with each other while discovering tools to rise above life’s challenges.
Captain(N) (Ret'd) Michelaine Lahaie went through one of Perron’s retreats. The experience helped her to forgive and thrive in her post-service life.

Kudos to the Institute for Veterans Education and Transition (IVET) for the important work they do.
Members of IVET recently met with Minister Lawrence MacAulay to discuss how they help transitioning military personnel explore academic and career opportunities.
