Staff from Veterans Affairs Canada will provide assistance to anyone who would like help signing up for My VAC Account and using the online service. If you are interested, drop in anytime throughout the session – no appointment is necessary. Please share this event with anyone you know who may be interested.

What is My VAC Account?

My VAC Account is a simple and secure way to do business online with Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC).

You may wish to register for a My VAC Account if you are currently doing business with VAC, if you are applying for benefits or services, or if you have any questions related to programs or services offered by VAC. Family members who are receiving VAC benefits can also register for their own My VAC Account.

With My VAC Account you can:
- learn about VAC benefits and services
- apply online for benefits and services
- upload documents to support your applications
- track the status of your applications
- view a summary of your benefits
- sign up for direct deposit or change your banking information
- update your personal information
- communicate directly with VAC staff through secure messaging

If you are in the Edmonton area and want to do business with Veterans Affairs Canada online, come to the Edmonton Garrison VAC area office on February 15th , between 9a.m. and 12p.m., where VAC staff will help you sign up and show you how to use My VAC Account.

You will notice that My VAC Account functionality is significantly reduced Wednesday to Saturday this week as we prepare for new programs under Pension for Life. On Sunday, the system will be totally offline. My VAC Account will be back up and running on 1 April. We apologize for any inconvenience.

The Current Benefits and payment history page in My VAC Account has been restored and you can now view your payment information. You can also view your new PFL payment information in your letters in My VAC Account.

Yep I noticed and who ever created this tool is a tool nothing but mind games stay at certain stages for months long pass your so called wait times totally useless

So VAC thinks spending money on an IT guy to create this new feature is more important then hiring more adjudicators to process the f'n claims!! Yeah so glad these ass-hats have our back.
