Since the beginning of the pandemic our National Contact Centre Network (NCCN) has responded to 99% of the calls made to our 1-800 line, which represent over 50,000 calls, and 97% of these calls were answered in less than two minutes.

If you are the legal representative of the estate of a deceased benefit recipient, please contact us. This appointment is made under the Government of Canada's new approach to Governor in Council appointments. Veterans and their families can rest assured that the work at the Office of the Veterans Ombudsman continues under the stewardship of the Deputy Veterans Ombudsman while the process of selecting a new Ombudsman is underway.
