Don't know about anyone else but these stories of Legion's going broke is getting old and boring.

Give it up already your "Social Club Attitude" is not the advocating organization today's vets need and that's why todays vets are not joining!  

If the only concern the Legion has is getting their money for Canadians using the poppy on the Highway of Heroes, Memorial Cup, licence plates then this barely veteran organization needs to fade away.

I can't wait until Canadians can use the poppy without being robbed for wearing a "symbol" of those Canadians who paid the supreme sacrifice.  I'm pretty damn sure John McCrae did not write In Flounders Fields to promote sales of the poppy so a civilian drinking club has a place to drink!
